The split of Lecce and the garden of the hemlock
Leave the car near the first bend in the road that climbs from Sigillo to Val di Ranco, you can walk up the stream of Gorghe along the route 13.
As we are inside the wooded and wild valley, opens the vision of the great natural wall of Lecce, blade rocks high as 70 m, which seems to bar the valley is the surface traces of the Great Rift which stretches for miles from the valleyof Sodo up to the Horn of Catria. But the interest is more important route in the transitional source of Lecce (altitude 645 m), a split horizontal limestone cliff from which, in times of rain, a violent stream of water comes out in a fan shape.
